Are your toothbrushes vegan?
They sure are.
What are the bristles made of?
Our toothbrush bristles are made from nylon. Unfortunately there are no vegan or plastic-free alternatives on the market (that are also recommended by dentists!). Thankfully the bristles are only a small part of the toothbrush and the rest of the toothbrush is completely biodegradable.
How firm are your bristles? Do you have different types of bristles?
We only sell one grade/type/ - which is a soft/medium. This grade is recommended by dentists; it protects your enamel, is soft on your gums but also keeps your teeth sparkling clean!
How do I dispose of the toothbrush once I have finished with it?
We are so proud of our bamboo toothbrushes, they are biodegradable which means they will break down much faster than a plastic toothbrush. We recommend cutting the bristles off & disposing of them in the rubbish bin, then putting the rest of the toothbrush in the compost bin. If you don’t have a compost bin, you can plant them in the ground!
How do we tell the different between our toothbrushes?
We recommend marking your toothbrush handle with a marker, nail polish, paint, anything colourful so it is easily distinguishable. We encourage you to get crafty with your markings!
How often should I replace my toothbrush?
We recommend changing your toothbrush every 3 months - this is the frequency that our subscriptions orders are sent too!
Is your packaging plastic free?
Yes! We package our toothbrushes in completely recyclable paper packaging.
Do all of the profits go to charity?
Absolutely. After production, packing and administration, every cent goes towards dental projects for those in need
